This title sounds so bad I wasn't expecting much. Its about an old white guy living in the Amazon jungle in a settlement.
He only recently learned to read, and he only reads love stories because thats the only kind of book available in the whole settlement.
Watching him struggle to read is only slightly amusing, I could've done without that. Whats exciting is that they go on a hunt for a wild cat thats been attacking settlers. We see flashbacks throughout the film so we understand his character.
Some funny scenes and characters throughout. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

I was highly caffeinated when we watched this movie -- hence the slow, dreamy, humid, jungle scenes were a little too much for me to bear!
Set in the dense Amazonian jungle, Antonio Bolivar is a man that has forsaken civilisation, and has decided to live a simple life with the natives, and later, by himself. When a jaguar sets about attacking humans, Antonio is called upon to lead a small band of men to track it down.
The pace was a little too slow for my liking, and at times I felt I was in the danger of getting jungle rot! The flashback scenes were a little confusing, as I had trouble distinguishing the degree of oldness in Bolivar. Recommended that viewers should be calm, relaxed and chilled before attempting to watch the movie. Fans of fast-paced action flicks should avoid at all cost!
