Another old movie, with Arnold Schwartzenegger. He doesn't say much at all, and there's hardly any dialogue in the movie but there are a couple of funny lines. There's some good props like a giant snake, and quite a bit of nudity considering when this movie was made.
There is a snake cult involved, and some scenes remind me of those boring day time movies with Kings and Queens lying around naked eating food.
2 out of 5 stars.

Movies that I had enjoyed, worshiped, and watched over and over again as an adolescent (until I could recite the lines) somehow seem a tad bit corny upon recent reviewing. Is it because I was easily amused when I was younger? Perhaps it might be because I have become a harsher critic, or have lost my sense of humour?
Perhaps. Anyhow, "Conan the Barbarian" is still an enjoyable movie for adults. It features corny lines and the heroes actually look like they do in the movie poster above (looks somewhat like the covers of my sister's romance novels). I still think that this was Arnie's best role. If that still doesn't convince you to watch it, I'd also like to mention that the film also features buxom wenches, broadswords, sorcery and loincloth.
