Who we are
We are a random assortment of computery-type people who also happen to enjoy watching movies.
Why "moofies" and why Arnie??
For us, Arnie is Mr Entertainment. He knows he's an entertainer, and he's in the business to make filmgoers happy (and not to score at award ceremonies). He's also currently the Governator of California! His characters are larger than life because he IS large. This website is called "moofies" because that is how we imagined Arnie would pronounce it. :)
Also, Tony Martin's impersonation of Arnie on The Late Show where he says something along the lines of "Ivan Reitman? He's a geeeenious!" has something to do with it. :)
aelst
... has trouble remembering the movies he's seen, and has trouble telling actors apart (also gets confused when too many characters are introduced in a movie). He is a laid-back, easily entertained dude, who will watch ANYTHING, no matter how crappy, outrageous, shocking, politically incorrect, etc.
ratbag
... after accidentally doing a film major at uni, ratbag is not as easily entertained as aelst, and considerable effort has been devoted to "unlearn what (she has) learned" so that she may watch all sorts of movies with an open mind. Still, she has has no respect for film directors who employ cheap tricks, make "cookie cutter" films, etc. Believes that all movies must have a purpose, or a message.

... is our guest reviewer, and is an outspoken, opinionated dude who doesn't give a fart about tact, and would probably offend you. But still, we like him. :)
